The FDP-420A Splice Closure is a fiber optic subscriber access box used as one of the elements in the construction of an FTTH network. It is designed to provide a protected access point between the distribution cable and the drop cable. This product can keep internal components safe from external environmental damage. The distribution input signal is spliced to the splitter input, and the outputs are connected to the drop fiber optic cable via couplers. The FDP-420 series is suitable for use in both LCP and NAP applications in PON architecture.
