Important facts about the HYPERLITE line

Ordinary extension ladders are heavy; they always have been. The leading cause of extension ladder-related injury is the weight of the ladder, often resulting in rotator cuff tears, herniated discs, ankle sprains, and knee ligament tears when loading, unloading, or carrying traditional, heavy extension ladders. These injuries have simply been a part of using extension ladders—until now.

The Little Giant® HyperLite™ extension ladder is the lightest Type IA fiberglass extension ladder in the world, bar none. HyperLite weighs up to 40 percent less than the standard competitor’s fiberglass ladder without sacrificing strength and stability. The HyperLite's wide rungs provide great comfort, reduce foot fatigue, and are very easy to replace. It also features Little Giant’s exclusive side-mounted dual-pulley system, which reduces the effort required to lift the fly section by 45% and eliminates a potential tripping hazard caused by traditional center-pulley cable systems. The Sure-Set foot allows you to position the feet flat or in a spiked position and hold them in place.

Little Giant's hi-viz green rail is one of the easiest color tones for the human eye to detect. Why should a ladder be hi-viz? Some of the most catastrophic falls are caused by people walking or driving into an extension ladder in use.
