Description
The use of this KIT is recommended in photovoltaic systems for direct current protection; its primary application is for interconnection systems between the solar panel array and the central inverter. The thermal circuit breaker is an 800 VDC, 40 A, 2-pole model, intended to protect the positive and negative sides of the array.
Installation
In an interconnection system, installation is performed at the thermal circuit breaker where the modules connect to the inverter, respecting colors and polarities as shown in the image. This can be omitted for microinverters.
Applications
Recommended for use in photovoltaic systems for direct current protection. Use this voltage surge restrictor before the regulator in your photovoltaic system. This will prevent damage due to current spikes caused by unexpected electrical discharges.
