NetBox 5 ax is a powerful dual-chain outdoor device that can fulfill multiple roles in your setups: AP/CPE/point-to-point. The powerful 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio comes with convenient RP-SMA connectors. That means you can add an HGO antenna output and you will get an excellent omnidirectional AP... or try the mANT30 PA antenna to create a powerful long-range point-to-point link for distances of up to 30 kilometers.*
This weather-resistant board features a modern Qualcomm Maple CPU based on the ARM architecture, 256 MB of RAM, a USB port for additional storage or other needs, and a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in.
We have designed the case to make life easier for system administrators. You can open the case effortlessly with one hand. At the bottom, hidden behind a protective door, are the Ethernet outputs. Equipped with a mounting loop for easy tower/pole installation, it also offers a separate DIN rail mount.
If you have read this far, here is a little extra feature: we have kept the old beeper for various alarms or creative outputs.
It is important to note that while longer links are possible, their reliability may vary. Also, the achievable distance depends heavily on the antenna selected for use.
