Key Features
  • Has two LED indicators to signal: 1- Device power on 2- Seismic Alert Activated
  • Provides the necessary power for wiring the Seismic Alert Siren at a distance of about 15 meters
  • Compatible with the YONUSA MULTIPOINT device for wireless activation of the YONUSA Seismic Alert Siren. (Consult Multipoint technical datasheet)

Operation and equipment

A weather radio is used, which is capable of receiving the signal broadcast by the Mexican Seismic Alert System (SASMEX). This is an open-broadcast signal, provided you have this radio. This signal is transmitted on 7 different channels, and the channel is selected on the radio according to the area where the equipment is to be installed, leading to the next point.

The seismic alert is only transmitted in highly seismic areas of the country, such as: Mexico City, Puebla, Acapulco, Chilpancingo, Morelia, Oaxaca, Toluca, and Morelos.
