Fire Alarm Control Panel / Addressable / Up to 1,110 Points with SK Technology / Up to 635 Points with SD Technology / Includes CLSS Communicator Model HW-AV-LTE-M-LA

The 6820 is an addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP) that can be configured to reach a total of up to 1,110 points and connect up to 17 panels on a single communication path. It has a built-in Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), which supports 159 System Sensor® (SK) detectors and 159 modules, or 127 Hochiki® (SD) devices.

To increase point capacity, additional 6815 SLC loop expanders can be added for SK devices, or the 5815XL expander for SD devices, increasing the capacity to a maximum of 1,110 points for SK devices and 635 points for SD devices.

A common communication and annunciation path of up to 17 panels can be connected via copper or fiber optics. One designated panel is configured as the communicator for the other panels within the network. It also has a dual POT telephone line communicator and an IP communicator; a cellular communicator can be installed optionally.

The 6820 can be enhanced using modules such as the 6860 remote annunciator, which has 4 programmable function keys that help automate tasks and reduce time wasted at the panel.

Compatibility with SWIFT® wireless devices provides intelligent detection options through a Class A mesh network. This is ideal for locations where wiring is not permitted, or for a simple installation of a new fire detection system.

SWIFT devices can be combined with other wired devices compatible with the 6820. SWIFT devices are only compatible with System Sensor (SK) devices. They are not compatible with Hochiki (SD) devices.

The 6820 also has one Form C trouble relay and two programmable Form C relays, as well as powerful functions such as drift compensation, pre-trouble and maintenance alerts, and calibration trouble alerts.
