Operation
The LockIT system consists of two main elements: the RJ45/LC outlet blocker and the secure patch cord. The blocker protects copper or fiber ports from the insertion of unauthorized cables or foreign objects. The secure cord prevents unintentional or unauthorized disconnection. Both components require the universal LockIT key for normal removal, but can be inserted freely into an outlet to secure the connection.
Instructions for Use
- Insert the blocker into the empty port without needing the key
- Insert the universal key into the blocker and turn to unlock
- Remove the blocker while held by the key to prevent dropping
