The PanZone overhead distribution rack is designed to add usable rack units above a rack/cabinet to maximize space utilization. Universal mounting brackets improve network design flexibility by being able to mount to most industry-standard ladder racks and cable trays. Additionally, the overhead rack can be suspended from the ceiling using a threaded rod. It allows for the deployment of zone distribution areas within the data center for greater scalability and faster server deployment. This is achieved by first installing the cabling to the overhead rack during initial construction and simply installing patch cords to connect to newly deployed servers.
