The FTC927 is a next-generation vehicle GPS tracker that offers improved location accuracy thanks to its advanced GNSS technology and Dead Reckoning feature, which maintains tracking even in areas without a GPS signal. With 4G LTE Cat 1 and GSM connectivity, this device is ideal for fleet telemetry applications, driver safety, and logistics and delivery services.
Additionally, it features Bluetooth® 5.4 LE for the wireless connection of external devices such as beacons and sensors, allowing for the monitoring of temperature, humidity, motion detection, and more.
Main Features
- Improved GNSS accuracy with up to 41 visible satellites
- Dead Reckoning feature for continuous tracking in areas without a GPS signal
- 4G LTE Cat 1 and GSM connectivity for fast and reliable data transfer
- Bluetooth® 5.4 LE for wireless connection of external devices
- 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery
- Integrated sensors for acceleration, turn detection, and more
- Compatibility with beacons and external sensors for advanced monitoring
What is the 'dead reckoning' feature?
The 'dead reckoning' feature allows the tracking device to estimate its position even when the GNSS signal is temporarily lost, such as in tunnels, underground parking garages, or urban canyons. It uses internal sensors, such as an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and vehicle speed, to calculate the approximate position based on the last known GNSS location, direction, and movement. This ensures more continuous and reliable tracking, especially in areas with poor satellite visibility.
