Key Technical Notes
- Ensure installation is performed by a trained professional
- Schedule a maintenance plan to check guy wire tension and tighten hardware
- Do not install solar panels higher than 6 meters. Check compatibility between solar cells and mounts
- A stress study must be performed when an eccentric load is placed on the tower. This can cause excessive torsion and bending in the tower, leading to structural failure
- All dish antennas must use a radome as an accessory to reduce wind drag
- The use of dishes larger than 2 feet (60 cm) in diameter is not recommended on this tower (check with engineering)
- The stated weight is for the equipment without accessories and without packaging
- Towers can be purchased in complete kits VIEW TOWER KITS
Warning
- Electrolytic galvanizing is not recommended for humid areas, saline and/or corrosive environments such as coasts, dams, or industrial parks with gas discharge VIEW AREA MAP
- The tower must be painted in accordance with (at minimum) the CFE D8500-02 specification (7 symmetrical stripes, alternating orange and white, starting and ending with orange)
- Must include night lighting, at least two fixtures, one in the middle and one at the top
- Removing basic installation components will cause instability or excessive tower torsion
- Local municipal regulations must be consulted to ensure a correct and legal tower installation
- We recommend following the guy wire installation recommendations at all times: VIEW GUY WIRE INSTALLATION DIAGRAM
