Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables, for use in industrial, residential, voice, and data electrical installations in homes, businesses, etc. Suitable for installations in projects where it will be covered by concrete.
The light-duty conduit is made of a non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, with a 12454 cell classification according to NMX-E-031. The light-duty conduit is manufactured according to the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
The joining of these pipes is carried out through the direct interconnection of a thermoformed sleeve integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the correct performance of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric strength, it is a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the duct.
