Applications

This conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in industrial or residential electrical installations. It is used in underground electrical systems, embedded in concrete, buried directly, or in exposed systems to house and protect power cables in environments such as shopping malls, industrial warehouses, etc.

Schedule 40 conduit is manufactured using a rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031.

These pipes are joined by directly connecting a thermoformed bell integrated into the pipe, or by using an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion. Its solvent-weld joining system creates a homogeneous assembly that provides maximum strength and a hermetic seal.

This conduit fully complies with the UL 651 specification standard, as certified for electrical installations operating at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.

Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it acts as an effective insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical leakage from the cable to the conduit.
