Applications
This conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in industrial or domestic electrical installations. It is used in underground electrical systems, encased in concrete, directly buried, or in systems exposed to the elements to house and protect cables that conduct electrical power, for use in shopping centers, industrial warehouses, etc.
Schedule 40 conduit is manufactured using a non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, with a cell classification of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031.
These pipes are joined via direct interconnection using a thermoformed bell integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion. Its solvent-weld joining system creates a homogeneous assembly that develops maximum strength and an airtight seal.
This pipe fully complies with the UL 651 specification standard, as confirmed by its certification for electrical installations operating at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.
Compliance with all the above fully guarantees the product's proper functioning and service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it serves as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
