Applications

This conduit is specially designed for electrical cable routing in uses such as electrical, industrial, or residential installations. It is intended for electrical systems that are underground, encased in concrete, directly buried, or in systems exposed to the elements to house and protect power cables, for use in shopping centers, industrial warehouses, etc.

Schedule 40 conduit is manufactured using a rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 according to NMX-E-031.

These pipes are joined via direct interconnection using a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion. Its solvent-weld joining system forms a homogeneous unit that develops maximum strength and a hermetic seal.

This pipe fully complies with the UL 651 specification standard, as attested by its certification for electrical installations operating at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.

Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the product's proper performance as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it serves as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
