Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in applications such as electrical, industrial, residential, and voice and data installations for houses, businesses, etc. It is suitable for installations in construction projects where it will be encased in concrete.
Light-duty conduit is manufactured using a non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 according to NMX-E-031.
Light-duty conduit is manufactured in accordance with the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
The joining of these pipes is carried out through the direct interconnection of a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injection-molded PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the correct operation of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric strength, serves as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
