Technical characteristics
- Category 6A/Class EA cable is manufactured with 23 AWG copper conductors with PE foam and HDPE (CM and CMR) or Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) HDPE insulation
- Copper conductors are twisted in pairs, separated by a tape-type divider
- The four pairs are surrounded by a Vari-MaTriX tape and a flame-retardant jacket
- The tape minimizes cable diameter and suppresses the effects of alien crosstalk
- Retains UTP electromagnetic interference immunity
- Small cable diameter maximizes density so existing pathways can be used when replacing Category 6 cabling
