The auxiliary repeater extends the radio frequency (RF) range of a Lutron RadioRA 2 lighting control system in larger applications, outdoor spaces, and between buildings. It can operate wirelessly within a property or be wired to another repeater using the RS485 port in a daisy-chain configuration, covering up to 305 m. A RadioRA 2 system supports up to 4 auxiliary repeaters; dimmers, switches, keypads, and shades must be within 9 m of a repeater, and repeaters must be within 18 m of each other. It mounts vertically or horizontally indoors and includes its 9 V power adapter and mounting screws.
