Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in applications such as industrial, residential, or commercial electrical, voice, and data installations. It is suitable for use in construction projects where it will be encased in concrete.
The light-duty conduit is made from a rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, with a classification cell of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031. The light-duty conduit is manufactured in accordance with the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
These pipes are joined via direct interconnection using a thermoformed bell integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the product's proper functioning and service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and its dielectric strength makes it an excellent insulator for installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
