I. INTRODUCTION
The HSSPKCLP is a high-quality speaker. The HSSPKCLP is UL listed for fire protective service. The high-intensity strobe light uses a xenon flash tube that generates a high-intensity light visible from all sides. The HSSPK24CLP is UL listed in accordance with ANSI/UL 1971 standard, Signaling Appliances for the Hearing Impaired.
II. PRODUCT INFORMATION
The HSSPKCLP offers a varied selection of wattages, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, and 4 watts, for either 25V or 70.7V audio amplifiers. The speaker frequency range is 400-4000 Hz. All devices are suitable for line supervision. Speakers include a DC-blocking capacitor which allows for supervision voltage of any polarity.
III. LOCATION
This device is intended for use in fire alarm systems and must be installed in accordance with the installation manual, the recommendations of local authorities having jurisdiction, and other NFPA standards that provide requirements for notification appliances for protective signaling systems. It is designed for indoor use only.
