The WXI acts like 2 detectors because it triggers alarm signals on both the left and right sides individually. Therefore, it is useful for PTZ activation, direction recognition, and switching detection patterns between day and night with a Control Panel.

Detection sensitivity can be set to High, Medium, and Low using the left and right switches individually.

WXI detects objects covering the lens surface. The IR digital anti-masking function optimizes the activation level of trouble outputs generated by masking, depending on the state of the lens surface. Well-calibrated settings for both the emission and reception levels of the IR LED, which fluctuate with temperature, contribute to stable anti-masking.

By analyzing detection patterns and environmental information, SMDA improves immunity against various noise factors, such as weather changes and vegetation, and can distinguish between the cause of nuisance false alarms and genuine intrusions.

Using the rotating sliding area masking shutter, the size of the detection areas can be changed.

Unwanted detection areas can be masked with the included area masking plate.
