Load Center Kit with Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor and AC Thermal Circuit Breaker

This KIT is recommended for use in photovoltaic systems for AC current protection; its main application is for interconnection systems between the inverter and the load center. The thermal circuit breaker is 400 VAC, 10 A, 2-pole, intended to protect 2 phases or one phase and one neutral.

The kit includes:

Protection Features

  • Zinc Oxide Varistor
  • Unlimited number of protections
  • 5-nanosecond response time

Electrical work is dangerous; poor connections can cause fires, injury, or death. Electrical installation must only be performed by qualified professionals.

When a power surge occurs in the electrical grid, the suppressor will receive the damage. When the surge exceeds the intensity indicated in the technical data sheet and has sufficient accumulated heat and voltage, the suppressor will open a hole of approximately one inch at the bottom of the casing and expel hot silicon and plastic fragments, performing its maximum blocking function to protect the circuit.

Use this AC voltage surge limiter before your inverter. This will prevent damage due to current spikes caused by unexpected electrical discharges.

Connect the black cables to the thermal circuit breakers by splicing them with the 2 phases going to the inverter; run the white cable to neutral-earth ground.

It can also be used in a distribution board for the protection of electronic equipment.
