Panduit’s TX6A™ U/UTP copper cable with Standard Compliant Plus technology is a component of the TX6A cabling system, designed to support 10GBASE-T transmissions over twisted pair systems in enterprise and data center applications. Constructed with 23 AWG solid copper conductors with foamed PE and HDPE insulation, it incorporates a pair separator tape and an AXT metallic barrier that minimizes cable diameter and effectively suppresses alien crosstalk while maintaining immunity to electromagnetic interference. Certified for channel performance in a 4-connector configuration up to 100 meters, it exceeds the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-E Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards with frequency sweeps up to 650 MHz. Its high-density design with a 6.3 mm (0.248 in) nominal diameter maximizes fill capacity in existing pathways, facilitating migration from Category 6 systems without the need to modify conduit infrastructure. Its CMR-rated flame-retardant PVC jacket and extended operating temperature range of -20°C to 75°C (-4°F to 167°F) make it ideal for PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) applications in high-density cabinets and thermally demanding environments where large cable bundles are concentrated.
