Description
Test switches can be placed at the end of a linear heat detection zone cable and will be used for commissioning, inspections, and system testing. The RedGear test and terminal box is rugged, non-metallic, and NEMA 4 (IP66) rated. A foam-in-place gasket seals the lids, which are secured with stainless steel screws. All junction and termination boxes must use a strain relief connector (Part #: RG1110) for all LHD cable penetrations made into the test box. No hole saws are required to insert the strain relief connector, which secures and prevents damage to the LHD cable, and seals the penetration from moisture and dirt, helping to prevent corrosion.
