Considerations

Extended mode distances may vary depending on installation conditions and devices used; it is necessary to use 100% COPPER CAT 6 UTP cable
Extended mode and the PoE extender only support devices that work with the PoE standard (IEEE 802.3af/at)
The switch provides standardized PoE (Active PoE) and cannot power devices that use Passive PoE
The switch has a button to return to factory settings (must be held down for 10 seconds)
Desktop or rack use (includes rack ears)

Extended Mode Distances

PoE Extended Operation

When using a Hikvision PoE extender, model DS-3E0103DP-E/R or DS-3E0503DP-E/R, Hikvision PoE switches can reach distances of up to 200 meters
