About LoRaWAN®
Long range and deep penetration
Sensors can be placed indoors, outdoors, and underground and still communicate directly with the gateway within a range of up to 50 km in open areas and up to 10 km in urban environments. There is no need for complex coverage analysis
Low power
Low bit rates and asynchronous communications ensure low power consumption. Sensors are designed to send small bits of data when ready, whether by events or scheduled. Battery life can reach up to 10 years.
Open standard
LoRaWAN® specifications are backed and maintained by the LoRa Alliance, allowing for simple and seamless scalability. LoRa technology operates in the license-free ISM band, allowing for public and private deployment.
