The Lutron Maestro occupancy and vacancy sensing switch combines a wall switch with a passive infrared sensor that turns lighting on and off based on human presence. It detects the heat of moving occupants and adjusts the load automatically, preventing lights from being left on in empty spaces. With a 2 A at 120 V capacity, it is ideal for small spaces such as closets, storage rooms, dressing rooms, pantries, and laundry rooms. It switches all types of lighting loads and can be configured in occupancy mode (automatic on and off) or vacancy mode (manual on and automatic off). The wall plate is sold separately (model CW-1).
