Description

Our protective shields are designed to increase antenna performance by boosting reflector gain in the main lobe direction by 1 to 2 dB, and reducing interference in the side and back lobes, thereby improving the front-to-back ratio.

The flat radome is manufactured from a dielectric material with low permittivity, designed to minimize losses due to main beam deflection and energy absorbed or reflected by the radome material itself.

The shield-radome assembly helps reduce wind load on the antenna and tower structure; additionally, it prevents ice accumulation on the feed and protects against adverse environmental effects caused by rain and hail.
