The Category 6 OSP cable complies with the ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard for Category components. The conductors are 22 AWG with polyolefin insulation. The cable is gel-filled to prevent moisture in wet applications and offers a wide temperature range for extreme weather conditions. The copper conductors are twisted in pairs, separated by a pair separator, and covered with a UV and abrasion-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket. This product must be used only in conduit and pipe installations. It must not be used in aerial or direct-buried applications. It offers lower voltage drop, higher current-carrying capacity, and lower heat generation for PoE applications. It exceeds 100 meters in distance for security, ICT, building automation, and IoT applications.
