Low-pressure solar water heaters are the best solution for saving on daily fuels such as LP gas and Natural Gas, which generate large amounts of pollutants and are very expensive. Their range of application spans from residential homes, businesses, restaurants, gyms, recreational parks, and hotels to industries and any facility that requires hot water service.

Contents

  • Includes a 180 L thermal tank
  • Vacuum tubes
  • Stainless steel structure
  • Sufficient hardware for installation
  • Magnesium anode
  • Gaskets

The solar water heater works by taking advantage of the natural pressure generated by the height of the water tank (tinaco). To ensure optimal performance, it is important that the tank be installed above the solar heater, with a recommended minimum height difference of 1.2 meters.

The equipment includes the storage tank, glass tubes, and the solar heater's metal structure. The materials and accessories necessary for installation are not included.

Tank Connections

  1. Cold water inlet. 3/4" Male x 35 mm stainless steel (SUS304)
  2. Water vent. 1/2" Female x 25 mm stainless steel (SUS304)
  3. Hot water outlet. 3/4" Male x 35 mm stainless steel (SUS304)
  4. Maintenance outlet. 3/4" Female stainless steel (SUS304)
  5. Copper plug for water drainage and equipment maintenance. 3/4" Male

Considerations and Precautions

  • DO NOT INSTALL WITHOUT A STORAGE TANK (TINACO) AT THE LOCATION, AS THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE THERMAL TANK, LEADING TO WATER LEAKS.
  • Images may vary slightly from the physical product.
  • Handle with care; avoid removing any protection during transport and handling.
  • Take special care when handling the glass tubes; they are extremely delicate. Do not throw, stack, or strike them.
  • Transport or handle boiler components with two people.
  • It is recommended to regularly clean the boiler's water inlets and outlets, as well as its air vent, to avoid damage from corrosion (remove scale buildup in the inlets) (every 3 months).
  • In places with very hard (saline) water, it is recommended to perform maintenance and replace the equipment's magnesium bar every 3 months. It is necessary to drain all residues found in the thermal tank or vacuum tubes; a descaling liquid or a mixture of 50% water and 50% vinegar can be used, followed by rinsing with plenty of water.
  • Anchor the boiler legs before filling with water.
