The QuickSight viewer has a V-notch that aligns your eye with the dial in a single motion. You aren't looking for north — you see it. High-contrast graphics are readable under direct sunlight, through sea spray, or at 3 a.m. with an activated ChemStick.

Night

3 a.m. The dial, lit.

ChemSticks don't need batteries or a connection to the console. Activate, insert, and you have 6 hours of constant green illumination. When the GPS cuts out and the chartplotter screen goes black, the SportAbout is still there.

Navigation
