Opti-Core™ fiber optic cable for passive LAN optical applications meets the common requirements for 1 and 2-fiber cables for passive optical networks. These indoor OS2 singlemode cables use a yellow (OFNR/FT4) Riser-rated thermoplastic outer jacket; aramid strength members and are bend-insensitive in accordance with ITU G.657.A1/G.652.D with a 900µm tight buffer. This construction allows the cable to meet the installation and performance requirements typically found in PON architectures.
