Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in applications such as industrial, residential, and voice and data electrical installations in houses, commercial buildings, etc. Suitable for installations in projects where it will be covered by concrete.
Light-duty conduit is made from a rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031. The light-duty conduit is manufactured in accordance with the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
These pipes are joined by means of direct interconnection via a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it acts as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
