The 7939WH magnetic contact is a perimeter reed switch sensor for doors and windows, normally closed, designed for residential and commercial installations. It is installed by fixing the contact body to the frame and the magnet to the door or window leaf; while the magnet remains within the gap, the circuit stays closed, and when the door is opened, the magnet moves away and the contact opens to trigger the alarm signal. It connects directly to a zone or loop of a conventional intrusion panel. It is compatible as a replacement for contacts from other brands with the same type of surface installation.
