LoRaWAN Ecosystem: What do you need to operate?
LoRaWAN sensors operate remotely and in real-time, but require three elements to function:
1. LoRaWAN Sensor
The device that captures data (temperature, humidity, motion, etc.)
2. LoRaWAN Gateway
Receives the signal from the sensors and sends it to the internet. Coverage varies by model: from 2 km in urban areas to 15 km in open fields.
