Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables, for use in electrical, industrial, residential, and voice and data installations in homes, businesses, etc. It is suitable for installations in construction projects where it will be covered by concrete.
Light-duty conduit is made from an unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, with a classification cell of 12454 according to NMX-E-031.
Light-duty conduit is manufactured in accordance with the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
The joining of these pipes is carried out through the direct interconnection of a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning and service life of the product. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it acts as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
