Applications

Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in uses such as residential, commercial, and industrial electrical, voice, and data installations. Suitable for installations where it will be covered by concrete.

Light-duty conduit is made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, with a 12454 classification cell in accordance with NMX-E-031. Light-duty conduit is manufactured according to the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.

These pipes are joined by the direct interconnection of a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.

Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric strength, serves as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leaks from the cable to the conduit.
