Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in applications such as residential, commercial, or industrial electrical, voice, and data installations. It is suitable for installations in construction projects where it will be covered by concrete.
Light-duty conduit is made from an unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a 12454 cell classification in accordance with NMX-E-031. The light-duty conduit is manufactured according to the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
These pipes are joined by means of direct interconnection using a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric strength, serves as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leaks from the cable to the duct.
