Stopper II® Series
For over 40 years, this unique and patented device has helped prevent false fire alarms around the world without restricting legitimate alarms. It is ideal for schools, hospitals, daycare centers, shopping malls, stores, hotels, office buildings, etc., where the threat of false fire alarms exists.
The Stopper II® series of covers consists of a tough, clear, tamper-resistant polycarbonate cover and a frame that fits over manual pull stations. When the cover lid is lifted to access the pull station, a piercing 95 or 105 dB warning alarm sounds, immediately drawing attention to the area so the prankster will be caught.
It is intended for use in areas where the incidence of false fire alarms from manual pull stations is high or has proven to be a serious problem. Any disadvantage of this device is more than offset when considering the consequences of false fire alarms, especially if emergency personnel and equipment respond to a false alarm. Added to this is the disruption of activities at the facilities when a false alarm occurs.
