Enhanced Optical Chamber
Detect what others don't see.
The SD365's photoelectric detection chamber has been redesigned to identify smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources — from smoldering fires with heavy smoke to fast-burning fires with fine particles. The sensor sends an analog smoke density signal to the control panel, which determines when to trigger the alarm. No false interpretations. No noise.
Visual Indication
Two LEDs. Total visibility.
The SD365's dual LEDs are visible from any angle in the hallway. Green for normal operation (a flash every 5 seconds), steady red for alarm, amber for maintenance. The panel monitors every status. You just look up and know what's happening. It also includes an output for an optional remote annunciator (RA100Z) when you need indication at a specific point.
LiteSpeed Protocol
Communication that doesn't drop.
The SD365 operates exclusively with the LiteSpeed protocol over the panel's analog communication loop. Each sensor reports its address and smoke level in real-time. Dual rotary switches allow you to set the address without special tools — turn, install, done.

Note: Not compatible with MS9050. For panels with CLIP protocol or SD355 models, use models with the IV suffix.
