Description
i3™ Series smoke detectors with sounder and/or relay represent a significant technological advancement in conventional detection, featuring enriched characteristics for simple installation, instant inspection, and intelligence to reject false alarms.
When 2-wire i3 detectors are connected to the 2WMOD2 loop maintenance and test module or to a panel compatible with the i3 protocol (i3 Ready™), they will generate a remote maintenance signal when any detector enters a cleaning condition and/or a freeze fault condition when the ambient temperature surrounding the detector is below 5°C.
