Hikvision · DS-PDP18-HM · Dual Outdoor PIR Detector
Double vision. Zero false alarms.
Two independent infrared sensors confirm every intrusion before triggering the alarm. 18-meter range, 118 detection zones, and IP65 protection for any weather.
Detection
Two eyes see better than one.
A conventional PIR sensor triggers with a branch moving in the wind. The DS-PDP18-HM requires both infrared sensors to confirm the threat before activating the alarm. The result: the false alarms that wake your client at 3 a.m. simply cease to exist. 118 cross-detection zones cover every centimeter of the perimeter.
Animal immunity
Your client's dog is not a threat.
Up to 24 kg of pet immunity. A 30 kg Labrador can cross the yard without triggering anything. The dual PIR algorithm distinguishes an animal's thermal signature from a human's. Install in homes with large pets without worrying about complaint calls.
Resistance
From winter in the north to the summer sun.
IP65 against rain and dust. Operates from -25°C to 70°C without degradation. The sealed housing withstands storms, sand, and coastal humidity. The anti-sabotage tamper alerts if someone tries to tear it off the wall. A detector you install and forget.
Installation
Two heights. One single detector.
Mount low (0.8 to 1.2 m) to protect hallways and pedestrian accesses, or high (2.5 to 3 m) for wide perimeter coverage. The 18-meter range at 90° is maintained in both configurations. 12 VDC power, compatible with any alarm panel on the market and native to Hikvision's AX Hybrid PRO series.
