The Dual Light function allows the camera to activate its white light when in night mode (with IR on) to record in color when an event occurs (motion detection, line crossing, area intrusion). The communication to activate white light only works in TVI (TURBOHD) mode and with recorders with firmware version 4.26 or higher.
