The IDP-Pull-SA is a single-action addressable manual pull station from Silent Knight's (Honeywell) Farenhyt series, which requires a single motion (pull down) to activate. It is used as an initiating device in fire detection systems, typically installed along evacuation routes and at the exits of commercial and industrial buildings. It communicates addressably with the panel via the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) and allows the installer to open the station for testing without triggering an alarm condition. It can be surface-mounted with the SB-I/O backbox or semi-flush mounted on a single-gang, double-gang, or 4-inch square electrical box.
