Overview

The Huawei HiSecEngine USG6530E is a next-generation firewall designed for small businesses, industrial branches, and retail chains. It offers both traditional and cloud-based management for automated configuration and big data analytics.

• High Performance: Enables pattern matching and accelerates encryption/decryption, improving processing performance for IPS, antivirus, and IPSec services.

Threat Protection License

The Threat Protection license keeps the signature database active and updated for antivirus detection, application-based traffic blocking, and URL filtering with a database of over 120 million URLs in its cloud search engine. Additionally, it offers an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) service that monitors the network for malicious activity.

Hi-Care Standard Level

Hi-Care Standard Support is a maintenance service solution that includes warranty services, Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support, and advanced hardware replacement within the shortest possible time. It helps maintain an efficient and stable network and improves network productivity.

License and Hi-Care Renewal

If licenses or Hi-Care are not renewed, the operations, configurations, and benefits they include will be disabled. To renew, consider the following models:

• LIC-USG6530E-1Y: Includes Threat protection (Antivirus, IPS, Web Filtering, and Application Blocking).
• HC-ST-USG6530E-1Y: This is the 1-year Hi-Care service (Sold separately)

Note: When purchasing the equipment, it is necessary to send an email to licencias@syscom.mx to claim the included licenses, providing the physical serial number and invoice.

VPN and Client Software

Proprietary Client Software: Yes, Huawei has a VPN client that facilitates secure access over the Internet.

• VPN Licenses: Secoclient provides various types of VPN connections, such as SSL VPN, L2TP VPN, and L2TP over IPSec VPN. The number of tunnels is limited and depends on the tunnel type.
  • L2TP/L2TP over IPSec: 2000 LAN to LAN or Client to LAN.
  • SSL VPN: Supports 100 connections by default, but additional licenses for 400 more users can be purchased for a total of 500 SSL VPN users.

Considering the diversity of user roles, the software is compatible with different operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, Linux, and even mobile versions for iOS and Android.
