AccessPlus cabinets provide security, equipment access, cooling, and support for networking and other 19-inch rack-mounted equipment. The cabinet has three components: front door, center section, and wall section.

- Double-hinged for easy equipment access; the center section provides 19-inch rack mounting with universal EIA spacing and is accessed through the front door or by swinging the center section away from the wall section for rear access.
- The front door has a solid steel or hardened, tinted safety glass window door for superior scratch resistance.
- The center section is easily removed from the rear section; one-person, tool-less installation is possible.
- Self-grounding, plated steel rack angles are fully adjustable within the center section.
- The wall section provides cable entry and cable management with knockouts or mounting plates.
- The mounting plate model facilitates retrofitting and quick installation, and allows for pre-terminated cables or pre-wired patch panels; no need to re-terminate and test.
- Self-locking center-to-wall section latches in two locations.
- Front access to all latches (no exposed side latches); the cabinet can be mounted securely in corners.
- Vented sides provide cross-flow ventilation to improve heat dissipation.
- Vertical cable manager is included on 711 mm wide models.
- A set of 10-32 threaded, plated, and self-grounding rack angles following universal EIA spacing standards, which can be adjusted from front to back, is provided with each center section of the cabinet; additional threaded or square-hole rack angles can be added to the cabinet to provide extra mounting.
