*2/0 gauge copper wire is recommended for the integration (SLY-346-BLK). Considering an electrode installation at most 3 meters from the tower, approx. 8 meters are used.

DIAGRAM for Physical Ground + Lightning Rod connection

Recommendations:

  • Ensure installation is carried out by a trained professional.
  • Schedule a maintenance plan for checking guy tension and adjusting hardware.
  • Do not install solar panels at a height greater than 6 meters. Check compatibility between solar cells and mounts.
  • A stress study must be conducted when an eccentric load is placed on the tower. This can cause excessive torsion and bending, leading to structural failure.
  • The tower must be painted in reddish-orange and white, in 7 equal-height bands starting and ending in reddish-orange (SYSCOM does not perform tower painting).
  • It is recommended to illuminate the tower, at least at the top, with a red lamp.
