*The dipole-type tip offers a 72° protection cone below the coil. It is recommended for areas with low lightning incidence.
*2/0 gauge copper cable is recommended for integration (SLY-346-BLK). Considering an electrode installation at a maximum of 3 meters from the tower, approximately 8 meters are used.
Recommendations:
- Ensure that the installation is performed by a trained professional
- Schedule a maintenance plan for checking guy wire tension and tightening hardware
- Do not install solar panels more than 6 meters high. Check for compatibility between solar cells and mounts
- A stress study must be performed when placing an eccentric load on the tower. This can cause excessive twisting and bending in the tower, leading to structural failures
- The tower must be painted in orange-red and white tones, in 7 stripes of equal height starting and ending with orange-red (SYSCOM does not perform tower painting)
- It is recommended to illuminate the tower at least at the tip with a red lamp
