*The dipole-type tip offers a 72° protection cone under the coil. Recommended for areas with low lightning incidence.
*2/0 gauge copper cable is recommended for integration (SLY-346-BLK). Considering a maximum distance of 3 meters from the tower for the electrode, approx. 8 meters are used.
Recommendations
- Ensure installation is carried out by a trained professional
- Schedule a maintenance plan to check guy wire tension and tighten hardware
- Do not install solar panels at a height greater than 6 meters. Check compatibility between solar cells and mounts
- A stress analysis must be performed when an eccentric load is placed on the tower. This can cause excessive torsion and bending in the tower, leading to structural failure
- The tower must be painted in orange-red and white, in 7 bands of equal height, starting and ending with orange-red (SYSCOM does not perform tower painting)
- It is recommended to illuminate the tower at least at the top with a red light
