Three parts. One box. Ready to install. The VXI-R-WH kit combines the OPTEX VXI-R dual-technology detector with the Honeywell 5816 wireless transmitter and the RBB01 battery box. Arrive at the job site, mount it on the wall, and the VISTA panel recognizes it in seconds.
Detection
12 meters. 90 degrees. No blind spots.
The detection pattern is adjustable in 5 ranges. Digital processing analyzes the signal in real-time, discarding what is not a threat. From the winter of Chihuahua to the desert sun, SMDA logic maintains sensitivity without drift.
Dual Technology
PIR + Microwave. Two layers, zero false alarms.
The microwave module with gold-plated contacts resists outdoor corrosion. Both sensors must agree to trigger the alarm. A swaying branch, a small animal, a gust of hot air: the VXI-R ignores them. Only when PIR and microwave confirm the intrusion does the signal travel via the 5816 to the panel.

The VXI-R-WH includes three components: the VXI-R dual-technology detector, the pre-wired two-zone Honeywell 5816 transmitter, and the RBB01 battery box compatible with CR123A, CR2, or 1/2 AA batteries. The 5816 communicates natively with VISTA48, VISTA50, VISTA21IP, VISTA128, L7000, and L5210 panels.
Anti-Tamper
If someone covers it, the sensor knows.
Active IR anti-masking detects objects in front of the lens: tape, spray, a hand. An attempt to block its vision triggers an alert before the intruder acts. Double conductive shielding protects the circuit against bright light and electromagnetic interference. The 5816 reports the tamper to the panel as an independent zone.
