The SYSLM6 magnetic loop, together with the XBALDET metal mass detector, is a safety device that prevents the barrier arm from lowering if a vehicle is detected underneath it. It is also responsible for sending the close command to the barrier once the vehicle has passed.
Note: The SYSLM6 and SYSLM4 loops and the XBSSLDET or MATRIXD1224 detectors are designed for applications with standard vehicles and pickup trucks. For applications with tractor-trailers, cargo trucks, and similar vehicles, please consult the Engineering Department.
